Menlopark Hotel Galway Best Practice Certificate 2013

The Menlo Park has once again received certification for the Failte Ireland Optimus Mark of Best Practice. The new certificate is valid until December 2014. We were delighted, as the team here had worked really hard to ensure that all of the systems and procedures that we work with on a daily basis are in line with the best in industry. Internally communication, professionalism and skills have improved which ultimately results in a far more pleasure experience for our guests.

The last few years have been great for the hotel.John Francis the owner continues to invest in the hotel and 2013 saw the addition of a fabulous new bar in our main function room. This is a great for weddings or any large events. The bar team love working in it and they have so much room to move around and our guests seem to feel the same as they have given great feedback.

We are looking forward to the next 15 years, so many changes since Paddy Francis thought of opening a small hotel on family land in 1997.

Voting will be open from Monday 27th May to Sunday 7th July 2013.

Thanks everyone and let's hope I can say we are the winner in the next couple of weeks.
There will be a coffee morning hosted by the Menlo Park Hotel on Friday May 31st from 10 a.m – 12 noon.
The coffee morning is being held to launch the installation of a new defibrillator in the hotel. This new facility will offer an invaluable resource to the local area. It has been donated to the hotel and community by Michael Carroll and his family  in honour of his wife Margaret. Margaret was reared on the site of the Menlo Park Hotel and was a sister of the late Paddy Francis who established the hotel.
She offered many years of service at St. Bernadette’s Paediatric ward at UCHG. All proceeds from the coffee morning will go towards new facilities at the infant unit at St. Bernadette’s.
Patrons will be able to avail of scones, pastries as well as heart healthy treats.

Come along and support a wonderful cause.
